About EEL

EEL grew out of Emergent Existence, a book series on how stable structure arises from simpler relations. The ledger applies the same idea to knowledge itself: variation, testing, selection, retention and revision, recorded in the open.

What EEL is not

It is not a cryptocurrency, and the repository contains no tokens, wallets, payments or staking. It does not vote on what is true. Any future market for research work would be a separate project built on top of the ledger's public record.

Take part

The project is at an early stage and welcomes criticism as much as contributions. Open anissue on GitHub to ask a question, report a problem or propose a change, and read CONTRIBUTING.md before sending code.
